Discovery Timeline
2021: Initial discovery by Benton and Sokoman

2022–2024: Four phases of drilling across Killick, Kraken, East Dyke & Hydra

2024: Magnetics, VLF-EM, till sampling, and new spodumene float discoveries at Kraken South
Key Drill Highlights
15.23m @ 1.04% Li₂O (Killick Dyke)

20.82m @ 0.60% Li₂O incl. 5.5m @ 1.16% (East Dyke)

13.55m @ 0.15% Cs₂O (Hydra)

13.37m @ 1.22% Li₂O (GH-23-45)

Kraken Pegmatite Field

Contains a cluster of lithium-bearing LCT pegmatite dykes, including Kraken, Killick, East, and North zones.

Multiple drill programs from 2021–2024 have returned significant lithium intercepts, including:

15.23m @ 1.04% Li₂O (GH-22-27 – Killick Dyke)
20.82m @ 0.60% Li₂O, including 5.5m @ 1.16% (GH-22-15 – East Dyke)
8.4m @ 0.95% Li₂O (GH-22-01 – Kraken Dyke)

Numerous dykes remain open in all directions, with several zones yet to be drill-tested.

Soil and till geochemistry have outlined extensive lithium and tantalum anomalies across the field.

Technical similarities in mineralogy to Piedmont’s Carolina Lithium Project reinforce its strategic potential.

Hydra Cesium Discovery

Located 12 km northeast of the Kraken Field, the first cesium-bearing pegmatite discovered in Newfoundland.

Channel sampling returned 8.75% Cs₂O, 0.41% Li₂O, 0.025% Ta₂O₅, and 0.33% Rb₂O over 1.2 meters, including 13.57% Cs₂O over 0.4 meters.

Drilling has confirmed cesium mineralization at depth (up to 13.55m of 0.15% Cs₂O).

Cesium is hosted in pollucite, a high-value mineral used in specialty electronics and critical defense applications.

Trenching and mapping confirm a strike length of over 200m, with the dyke extending under till cover.

Kraken South Potential

A new high-grade spodumene-bearing float discovery made during 2024 fieldwork.

12 float samples assayed >1% Li₂O, with a peak grade of 1.97% Li₂O.

Initial till samples returned anomalous spodumene grain counts, indicating potential bedrock sources.

Interpreted to be a southern extension of the Kraken system or a new parallel dyke trend.

Geochemical anomalies at Grandy’s West and Top Pond Ridge show elevated Li and Ta in soil and bedrock expanding the exploration footprint.
